Patna, April 7, 2017: Bihar State Disaster Management Authority (BSDMA) vice-chairman Vyas Ji on Friday advocated for integrated approach to reduce risk factors in fire incidents happening across the state in the summer season. Speaking
at a workshop on fire safety, he said the risk of fire could be reduced
in rural Bihar if we include Panchayati Raj institutions in our scheme

Patna, April 7, 2017: Anganwadi workers met Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad on Friday
and urged him to solve their grievances. For nearly one month,
Anganwadi workers drawn from different parts of the state were staging
demonstration in support of their demands including pay hike at
Gardanibagh, the place earmarked for peaceful dharnas and demonstration
by Patna district administration. They also
submitted a memorandum of demands to the RJD chief. RJD is the bigger
partner of the Grand Alliance Government in Bihar led by Janata Dal
