TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee takes oath as Chief Minister of West Bengal for a third consecutive term, at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata on 12th May 2021. West Bengal secretariat Nabbana released a list of 34 names of cabinet ministers including several former ministers like Partha Chatterjee, Subrata Mukherjee, Sadhan Pande, Sashi Panja, Jyotipriyo Mullick, Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Bratya Basu to name a few.

सोलह सोमवार व्रत कथा PDF – पूजा विधि, चालीसा और आरती सहित– सोमवार का व्रत साधारणतया दिन के तीसरे पहर तक होता है । या पारण का कोई खास नियम नहीं है किन्तु यह आवश्यक है कि दिन रात मे केवल एक समय भोजन करे । सोमवार के व्रत मे शिवजी पार्वती का पूजन करना साधारण और सोलह सोमवार विधि तीनो की एक जैसी है। शिव पूजन के पश्चात् कथा सुननी चाहिए । प्रदोष व्रत, सोलह सोमवार कथा तीनो की अलग-अलग है आगे लिखी गई है।
16 सोमवार व्रत को संकट सोमवार व्रत भी कहते हैं। इस व्रत को मुख्यत: किसी बड़े संकट से छुटकारे के लिए संकल्प लेकर किया जाता है। यदि आप आर्थिक रूप से बुरी तरह संकट में फंसे हुए हैं, घर-परिवार में कोई न कोई लगातार गंभीर रोगों से पीड़ित हो रहा है। परिवार पर एक के बाद एक लगातार संकट आते जा रहे हैं तो यह व्रत अवश्य करना चाहिए। इसके अलावा जिन युवतियों का विवाह नहीं हो पा रहा है, किसी न किसी कारण से विवाह तय नहीं हो पा रहा है तो उन्हें भी 16 सोमवार का व्रत करना चाहिए।

सोलह सोमवार पौराणिक एवं प्रामाणिक व्रत कथा
एक समय श्री महादेवजी पार्वती के साथ भ्रमण करते हुए मृत्युलोक में अमरावती नगरी में आए। वहां के राजा ने शिव मंदिर बनवाया था, जो कि अत्यंत भव्य एवं रमणीक तथा मन को शांति पहुंचाने वाला था। भ्रमण करते सम शिव-पार्वती भी वहां ठहर गए। पार्वतीजी ने कहा- हे नाथ! आओ, आज इसी स्थान पर चौसर-पांसे खेलें। खेल प्रारंभ हुआ। शिवजी कहने लगे- मैं जीतूंगा। इस प्रकार उनकी आपस में वार्तालाप होने लगी। उस समय पुजारीजी पूजा करने आए। पार्वतीजी ने पूछा- पुजारीजी, बताइए जीत किसकी होगी?
पुजारी बोला- इस खेल में महादेवजी के समान कोई दूसरा पारंगत नहीं हो सकता इसलिए महादेवजी ही यह बाजी जीतेंगे। परंतु हुआ उल्टा, जीत पार्वतीजी की हुई। अत: पार्वतीजी ने पुजारी को कोढ़ी होने का श्राप दे दिया कि तूने मिथ्या भाषण किया है। अब तो पुजारी कोढ़ी हो गया। शिव-पार्वतीजी दोनों वापस चले गए। कुछ समय पश्चात अप्सराएं पूजा करने आईं। अप्सराओं ने पुजारी के उसके कोढ़ी होने का कारण पूछा। पुजारी ने सब बातें बता दीं।
अप्सराएं कहने लगीं- पुजारीजी, आप 16 सोमवार का व्रत करें तो शिवजी प्रसन्न होकर आपका संकट दूर करेंगे। पुजारीजी ने अप्सराओं से व्रत की विधि पूछी। अप्सराओं ने व्रत करने और व्रत के उद्यापन करने की संपूर्ण विधि बता दी। पुजारी ने विधिपूर्वक श्रद्धाभाव से व्रत प्रारंभ किया और अंत में व्रत का उद्यापन भी किया। व्रत के प्रभाव से पुजारीजी रोगमुक्त हो गए।
कुछ दिनों बाद शंकर-पार्वतजी पुन: उस मंदिर में आए तो पुजारीजी को रोगमुक्त देखकर पार्वतीजी ने पूछा- मेरे दिए हुए श्राप से मुक्ति पाने का तुमने कौन सा उपाय किया। पुजारीजी ने कहा- हे माता! अप्सराओं द्वारा बताए गए 16 सोमवार के व्रत करने से मेरा यह कष्ट दूर हुआ है।
पार्वतीजी ने भी 16 सोमवार का व्रत किया जिससे उनसे रूठे हुए कार्तिकेयजी भी अपनी माता से प्रसन्न होकर आज्ञाकारी हुए। > > कार्तिकेयजी ने पूछा- हे माता! क्या कारण है कि मेरा मन सदा आपके चरणों में लगा रहता है। पार्वतीजी ने कार्तिकेय को 16 सोमवार के व्रत का माहात्म्य तथा विधि बताई, तब कार्तिकेयजी ने भी इस व्रत को किया तो उनका बिछड़ा हुआ मित्र मिल गया। अब मित्र ने भी इस व्रत को अपने विवाह होने की इच्छा से किया।
फलत: वह विदेश गया। वहां के राजा की कन्या का स्वयंवर था। राजा ने प्रण किया था कि हथिनी जिस व्यक्ति के गले में वरमाला डाल देगी, उसी के साथ राजकुमारी का विवाह करूंगा। यह ब्राह्मण मित्र भी स्वयंवर देखने की इच्छा से वहां एक ओर जाकर बैठ गया। हथिनी ने इसी ब्राह्मण मित्र को माला पहनाई तो राजा ने बड़ी धूमधाम से अपनी राजकुमारी का विवाह उसके साथ कर दिया। तत्पश्चात दोनों सुखपूर्वक रहने लगे।
एक दिन राजकन्या ने पूछा- हे नाथ! आपने कौन-सा पुण्य किया जिससे हथिनी ने आपके गले में वरमाला पहनाई। ब्राह्मण पति ने कहा- मैंने कार्तिकेयजी द्वारा बताए अनुसार 16 सोमवार का व्रत पूर्ण विधि-विधान सहित श्रद्धा-भक्ति से किया जिसके फल के कारण मुझे तुम्हारे जैसी सौभाग्यशाली पत्नी मिली। अब तो राजकन्या ने भी सत्य-पुत्र प्राप्ति के लिए व्रत किया और सर्वगुण संपन्न पुत्र प्राप्त किया। बड़े होकर पुत्र ने भी राज्य प्राप्ति की कामना से 16 सोमवार का व्रत किया।
राजा के देवलोक होने पर इसी ब्राह्मण कुमार को राजगद्दी मिली, फिर भी वह इस व्रत को करता रहा। एक दिन उसने अपनी पत्नी से पूजा सामग्री शिवालय ले चलने को कहा, परंतु उसने पूजा सामग्री अपनी दासियों द्वारा भिजवा दी। जब राजा ने पूजन समाप्त किया, तो आकाशवाणी हुई कि हे राजा, तुम इस पत्नी को त्याग दो नहीं तो राजपाट से हाथ धोना पड़ेगा।
प्रभु की आज्ञा मानकर उसने अपनी पत्नी को महल से निकाल दिया। तब वह अपने भाग्य को कोसती हुई एक बुढ़िया के पास गई और अपना दुखड़ा सुनाया तथा बुढ़िया को बताया- मैं पूजन सामग्री राजा के कहे अनुसार शिवालय में नहीं ले गई और राजा ने मुझे निकाल दिया।
बुढ़िया ने कहा- तुझे मेरा काम करना पड़ेगा। उसने स्वीकार कर लिया, तब बुढ़िया ने सूत की गठरी उसके सिर पर रखी और बाजार भेज दिया। रास्ते में आंधी आई तो सिर पर रखी गठरी उड़ गई। बुढ़िया ने डांटकर उसे भगा दिया।
अब रानी बुढ़िया के यहां से चलते-चलते एक आश्रम में पहुंची। गुसांईजी उसे देखते ही समझ गए कि यह उच्च घराने की अबला विपत्ति की मारी है। वे उसे धैर्य बंधाते हुए बोले- बेटी, तू मेरे आश्रम में रह, किसी प्रकार की चिंता मत कर। रानी आश्रम में रहने लगी, परंतु जिस वस्तु को वह हाथ लगाती, वह वस्तु खराब हो जाती। यह देखकर गुसांईजी ने पूछा- बेटी, किस देव के अपराध से ऐसा होता है? रानी ने बताया कि मैंने अपने पति की आज्ञा का उल्लंघन किया और शिवालय में पूजन के लिए नहीं गई, इससे मुझे घोर कष्ट उठाने पड़ रहे हैं।
गुसांईजी ने शिवजी से उसके कुशलक्षेम के लिए प्रार्थना की और कहा- बेटी, तुम 16 सोमवार का व्रत विधि के अनुसार करो, तब रानी ने विधिपूर्वक व्रत पूर्ण किया। व्रत के प्रभाव से राजा को रानी की याद आई और दूतों को उसकी खोज में भेजा।
आश्रम में रानी को देख दूतों ने राजा को बताया। तब राजा ने वहां जाकर गुसांईजी से कहा- महाराज! यह मेरी पत्नी है। मैंने इसका परित्याग कर दिया था। कृपया इसे मेरे साथ जाने की आज्ञा दें। शिवजी की कृपा से प्रतिवर्ष 16 सोमवार का व्रत करते हुए वे आनंद से रहने लगे और अंत में शिवलोक को प्राप्त हुए।
कथा सुनने के पश्चात शिवजी की आरती ‘ॐ जय शिव ओंकारा’ गाएं।

- फिर गाय के शुद्ध कच्चे दूध को शिवलिंग पर अर्पित करना चाहिए। यह करने से मनुष्य के तन-मन-धन से जुड़ी सारी परेशानियां खत्म हो जाती है।
- इसके बाद शिवलिंग पर शहद या गन्ने का रस चढ़ाए। फिर कपूर, इत्र, पुष्प-धतूरे और भस्म से शिवजी का अभिषेक कर शिव आरती करना करें। अपनी मनोकामना पूर्ति के लिए ह्रदय से प्रार्थना करना चाहिए।
- इस व्रत में सफेद रंग का खास महत्व होता है। व्रत वाले को दिन में सफेद कपड़े पहनकर शिवलिंग पर सफेद पुष्प चढ़ाने से व्यक्ति की सभी मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण होती है।
- सोमवार के दिन शिवपूजा का विधान है। भोलेनाथ एक लोटे जल से भी प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं। सोमवार के दिन भगवान शिव की पूजा करने से व्यक्ति की हर मनोकामना की पूर्ति होती है।
- यदि भोलेनाथ की पूजा शिवमंत्र के साथ की जाए तो भाग्योदय के साथ रोजगार, उन्नति व मनचाहे जीवन-साथी पाने की मनोकामना शीघ्र पूर्ण होती है।
- शिवलिंग पर जलाभिषेक के बाद गाय का दूध अर्पित करें। इससे तन, मन और धन संबंधी हर समस्या दूर होती है।
- शिवलिंग पर शहद की धारा अर्पित करें। इससे आजीविका, नौकरी व व्यवसाय से संबंधित सभी परेशानियों से छुटकारा मिलता है।
- लाल चंदन लगाएं व श्रृंगार करें। माना जाता है कि शिवलिंग पर चंदन लगाने से जीवन में सुख-शांति आती है।
- इन उपायों के बाद यथाशक्ति गंध, अक्षत, फूल, नैवेद्य अर्पित कर शिव आरती करें।
- साथ ही शिव जी को अर्पित किए गए दूध, शहद को चरणामृत के रूप में ग्रहण करें और चंदन लगाकर मनोकामना पूर्ति हेतु भोलेनाथ से प्रार्थना करें।

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released 8th instalment of financial benefit of Rs 2,06,67,75,66,000 to 9,50,67,601 beneficiary farmers under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme today via video conferencing. Prime Minister also interacted with farmer beneficiaries during the event. Union Agriculture Minister was also present on the occasion.
While interacting with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme via video conferencing, Prime Minister appreciated Arvind from Unnao in Uttar Pradesh for providing training to young farmers of his region on organic farming and new farming techniques. He praised the efforts taken by N Vennurama from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh for guiding more than 170 adivasi farmers of her region. PM appreciated Revistar from Meghalaya for producing spices like Ginger powder, turmeric, cinnamon, etc in the hilly areas of Meghalaya. He also interacted with Khurshid Ahmed from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir who cultivates vegetables like capsicum, green chillies and cucumber organically.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said for the first time, the farmers of West Bengal would be getting the benefit of this scheme. He lauded the efforts of the farmers who have made record produce in food grains and horticulture amidst the difficulties during this pandemic. He said Government is also setting new records in procurement at MSP every year. Paddy procurement at MSP had set new records and now wheat procurement at MSP is also setting new records. He added that so far this year, about 10 percent more wheat has been procured at MSP, compared to last year. So far, about Rs. 58,000 crores for wheat procurement has reached the farmers' account directly.
Prime Minister remarked that the Government is constantly trying to provide new solutions and new options in farming. Promoting organic farming is also one of such effort. Organic farming delivers more profit and is now being practiced across the nation by young farmers. He said that now organic farming is being practised on both banks of Ganga and within a radius of about 5 kilometers, so that the Ganga remains clean.
Prime Minister stressed that during this COVID-19 pandemic, Kisan Credit Card’s deadline has been extended and instalments can now be renewed by 30 June. He said more than 2 crore Kisan Credit Cards have been issued in recent years.
Prime Minister said that this once in a century pandemic is challenging the world, as it is an invisible enemy in front of us. He said the Government is fighting COVID-19 with all its might and ensuring that every government department is working day & night to ease the pain of the nation.
Prime Minister remarked that Central Government and all the State Governments together, are making continuous efforts to enable more and more countrymen to get vaccinated at a rapid pace. He said so far, around 18 crore vaccine doses have been given across the country. Free vaccination is being done in government hospitals across the country. Prime Minister urged everyone to register for the vaccine when their turn comes and ensure covid appropriate behaviour at all times. He added that this vaccine is an important means of protection against corona and will reduce the risk of serious illness.
Prime Minister said Armed forces are working with full strength to ensure oxygen supply in these tough times. Railways are also running oxygen express trains. The pharma sector of the country is manufacturing and delivering medicines at a large scale. He requested the State Governments to ensure strict laws to counter black marketing of medicines and medical supplies.
Prime Minister remarked that India is not a nation that loses hope in tough times and hoped that this challenge would be overcome with strength & dedication. He warned about the spread of COVID-19 in rural areas as well and urged the village panchayats to ensure proper awareness and sanitation in their respective areas.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released 8th instalment of financial benefit of Rs 2,06,67,75,66,000 to 9,50,67,601 beneficiary farmers under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme today via video conferencing. Prime Minister also interacted with farmer beneficiaries during the event. Union Agriculture Minister was also present on the occasion.
While interacting with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme via video conferencing, Prime Minister appreciated Arvind from Unnao in Uttar Pradesh for providing training to young farmers of his region on organic farming and new farming techniques. On the occasion, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said Prime Minister’s efforts are always in the direction of good governance, improving life style and doubling farmers’ income. He added that under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi income-centric policies are being framed for the agriculture sector. Describing PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana as the most comprehensive scheme, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the focus on Gaon, Garib and Kisan and also for transferring more than Rs. 20 thousand crores to bank accounts of nearly 9.5 crore farmers under PM Kisan. The Minister also added that the Agriculture Ministry is putting all-around efforts to achieve 100% saturation under the PM Kisan scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras (PMBJKs), Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI), Distributors and other stakeholders have come together and are contributing in the fight against the current wave of Covid 19 pandemic.
As on 13.05.2021, 7733 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras (PMBJKs) are functional across the country in 36 State/UTs covering all districts of the country. 1449 medicines and 204 surgical & consumables are available in the basket of PMBJP for sale through these PMBJKs. Essential medicines and other items like face masks and sanitizers are easily available at PMBJKs, across the country. Under PMBJP, the best quality N-95 facemask is being made available at only Rs. 25/- per unit at all PMBJKs.
In the current financial year 2021-22 till 13.05.2021, BPPI has made sales of Rs. 80.18 Crore which led to savings of approximately Rs. 500 Cr. to the citizens.
The logistics system is being strengthened. At present three modern warehouses at Gurugram, Guwahati and Chennai for storage and distribution of drugs are functional and a fourth one is under construction at Surat. Further, 37 distributors have been appointed across the country to support the supply of medicines to remote and rural areas.
In the year 2020-21, when the COVID 19 crisis started, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) rendered essential services to the nation. The stores remained functional during lockdown and maintained operations as part of their commitment to ensure uninterrupted availability of essential medicines.
A medicine under PMBJP is priced on the principle of a maximum of 50% of the average price of top three branded medicines. Therefore, the price of Jan Aushadhi Medicines is cheaper at least by 50% and in some cases, by 80% to 90% of the market price of branded medicines.
In the financial year 2020-21, BPPI clocked appreciable sales turnover of Rs. 665.83 crore despite the lock down and testing times. This has led to savings of approximately Rs. 4000 crores of the common citizens of the country. BPPI maintained adequate stock of the medicines which were in demand, such as Face Mask, Hydroxychloroquine, Paracetamol and Azithromycin. BPPI sold about 25 lacs Face Masks, 1.25 lacs units of sanitizers, 137 lacs tablets of Hydroxychloroquine and 323 lacs Paracetamol Tablets in the financial year 2020-21 through more than 7500 Jan Aushadhi kendras functioning across the country, at affordable prices. BPPI has also supplied drugs worth Rs 30 crore to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for distribution to friendly countries. There are many medicines and OTC items, being used during the treatment of COVID 19, available in the PMBJP basket.
Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya JanAushadhi Pariyojana added several Nutraceutical products to help boost the immunity of all (including women and children). PMBJP prices of all these products are 50%-90% lesser than the ones offered in the market.
Last year, during the lockdown period, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras (PMBJKs) rendered their essential services by making available quality generic medicines at affordable prices to the common citizens of the country at their doorstep. Kendra pharmacists, popularly known as “Swasth Ke Sipahi” delivered the medicines to patients and elderly people at their doorstep.
