The Lord Mahavir Gold Coin is a tribute to the birth of Lord Mahavir, the last Tirthankara (enlightened being) of Jainism. Also known as Vardhaman, Mahavir was the 24th Tirthankara (supreme preacher) of Jainism and propagated the message of ‘ahimsa’ (non-violence) in everyday life.
